Ingredients

  • 2 T butter
  • 1 can (16.3 oz.) can of refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 can (10.2 oz.) can of refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 jar salsa (1 3/4 c)
  • 3 c Monterey Jack cheese(shredded)
  • 1/2 c green pepper
  • 1/2 c green onions
  • 1 can sliced ripe olives (drained)

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter in 13 x 9 baking dish and coat pan evenly. Separate dough into 13 biscuits cutting each into eights. In large bowl place cut biscuits and toss with 1 3/4 cup salsa. Spoon evenly into prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese, peppers, onions and olives.

Bake 35-45 minutes or until edges are golden brown and center is set. Let stand 15 minutes. Cut into squares and serve with salsa
