Chocolate Chip Cinnamon Breakfast Ring

    c butter softened

  • 2

    cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing

  • 1

    box vanilla pudding mix. (not instant)

  • ½

    c brown sugar

  • ¼

    c chocolate chips


Heat oven to 375 degrees. Using 1 T butter generously grease a fluted tube pan. In small microwave bowl and melt remaining butter. Separate dough into 16 rolls. Cut each roll in half crosswise. Place half of the rolls in the pan. Sprinkle with half the brown sugar and half pudding mix. Drizzle with hale the melted butter. Repeat layering with remaining rolls, pudding mix, brown sugar and melted butter. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake 24-28 minutes or until rolls are deep brown in color. Cool for 2 minutes. Turn upside down onto a serving plate. Cool 15 minutes. Uncover icing and microwave on high for 10 seconds to soften. Drizzle over ring and cut into slices.
