Ingredients
- 3 lbs stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1 16oz pkg fresh baby carrots
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 15oz can tomatoes
- 1 15oz can peas, drained
- 1 15oz can green beans, drained
- 1 15oz can small whole potatoes, drained (I quarter potatoes)
- 1 10 1/4oz can beef consommé (only use 1/2 can)
- 1/4 cup quick cooking tapioca
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 cup fine dry breadcrumbs
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- salt and pepper

Step 1
preheat oven to 250 degrees. Combine all ingredients in a dutch oven. Cover and cook in oven for 6-7 hours.
*I usually add most of the remaining beef consommé for more moisture.
