Slow Cooker Tip

This recipe works best in a round slow cooker between 4 and 5 qt. If your slow cooker is larger than this, line the empty slow cooker with heavy-duty foil sprayed with cooking spray before using as directed. This helps prevent the edges of the cake from overcooking.

I have been ****** this recipe for years.

I have been ****** this recipe for years. It is a family favorite. I use one 12oz bag of chocolate chips and a very important step that is not mentioned here is to cover the crockpot with paper towels. The towels will absorb the moisture and prevent it from collecting on the top of the cake. I usually change out the towels once during the cooking process. The is a keeper!!!
