Ingredients
- 1 gallon large whole dill pickles
- 4 pounds sugar
- 1 2 ounce bottle Tabasco sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Drain pickles; discard pickle juice.
Cut ends off whole pickles and cut them into chunks. Place pickle chunks back into pickle jar.
Pour sugar and Tabasco sauce in the jar. Put lid back on jar. Be sure lid is on tightly. Gently roll jar until sugar starts to dissolve.
Place pickle jar in a pan on counter. Turn jar upside down 2-3 times per day for 5 days. May be stored in gallon jar or placed in several smaller containers. Store in refrigerator.
