Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice (6-8 large lemons)
- 5 cups cold water
- Garnishes: lemon slices and fresh mint sprigs

Stir together the sugar and 1/2 cup of boiling water until sugar dissolves. Stir in the lemon juice and 5 cups of cold water. Garnish if desired
