Chicken and Spice Rice

Ingredients
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 3/4 cup orzo
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 stalk celery, diced
- 3 1/4 cups chicken stock
- 1 1/2 cups cooked diced chicken
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon basil
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
- 2 tablespoons butter

Step 1
In a large sauce pan or skillet, brown rice and orzo in oil. Add onion and celery. Saute until tender. Pour chicken stock over; cover; reduce to simmer; cook until liquid has been absorbed.
Stir the chicken, seasonings and butter into hot rice. Serve.
