Ingredients
- 1 large lemon, halved
- 1/2 tsp koasher salt
- black pepper
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 3 hearts of romaine lettuce, shredded
- 2 ripe but firm avacodoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 red onion, sliced into rings

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat barbecue to high. Grill lemon, cut-sides-down, until marked by the grill, about 3 to 4 minutes. Remove and let cool.
2. Juice the lemon into a salad bowl and whisk in salt and pepper. Whisk in olive oil until emulsified. Toss with shredded romaine and top with sliced avacodoes and red onion.
