Jalepeno Popper Cheese Fondue

Very reliable recipe. Great for nacho cheese sauce, pretzel dipping, and even for a Mexican casserole. Try it on vegetables as well.

Ingredients
- 1 bottle beer
- 1 clove garlic, grated, preferably with a zester
- 2 cups cheddar, grated
- 1 tblsp flour
- 1 cup softened cream cheese, cubed
- 1 cup velvetta
- 1/2 cup chopped pickled jalepeno
- If this looks thin add American cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Heat the beer in a heavy saucepan or fondue pot. Mix the flour with the cheeses. When beer begins to simmer add the cheeses and the garlic. When cheese is incorporated add the jalepeno. Check for thickness and add American cheese till it is perfect. Just keep warm till ready to serve.
