Ingredients
- Meatballs:
- 1/4 cup tamari or soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 cups bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/2 kg ground beef
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- Sweet & Sour Sauce:
- 1/2 cup waer
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp tamari or soy sauce
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch

Preparation
Step 1
1. Mix tamari, water, sugar, garlic power and ginger. Let stand 10 minutes.
2. Break up meat and mix in bread crumbs
3. Pour in liquid mixture and blend thoroughly
4. Shape into balls. Heat oil in frying pan and brown on all sides
5. Place balls and 1/2 cup water into baking dish
6. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes
7. Make sauce by combining all ingredients but cornstarch in pot and boil
8. Add cornstarch to 1/4 cup water, add to pot and stir until thick and smooth
