  • 250 gm Unsalted Butter
  • 500 gm Icing Mixture
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Step 1

Soften the butter to room temperature. (Either leave out on the bench or microwave for approximately 20 seconds.)Note – uber important not to have cold and hard butter as well as liquid and sloppy butter. You want it to hold its shape, but able to poke your finger into it.
Place butter into a bowl with icing sugar and vanilla.
Beat for 3 minutes until light and fluffy. Either hand held electric beater or bench top mixer.


This batch will decorate 12 cupcakes or a 6 inch round cake.
