  • 1 cup beer
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 4 onions, peeled and sliced into rings

Preparation

Step 1

In a large, deep skillet, heat oil to 365 degrees F (180 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, mix together flour, beer, salt, and pepper until smooth. Dredge onion rings in the batter until evenly coated. Working in batches, fry onion rings until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Repeat with remaining onion rings.
