Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tsp. yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 cups all-purpose flour

Preparation
Step 1
Dissolve yeast in water. Let sit for 5-10 minutes.
Mix in sugar, salt and flour; knead for 10 minutes.
Let dough rest for 20 minutes.
Cut into 6 – 8 pieces; roll into bagel shape.
Place on greased cookie sheet, let sit for 15 minutes.
Preheat oven to 500°F
While the bagels are resting, bring 3 inches of water to a boil, add 2 Tbsp. sugar.
Drop bagel into water and boil for 1 minute, flip and boil for 1 more minute.
Place boiled bagel back onto cookie sheet and bake in a 500°F oven for 8-10 minutes.
