Ingredients

  • 30 oz frozen, shredded hashbrowns, thawed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 40 butter crackers or Ritz crackers, crushed (can also use 1/2 box crushed corn flakes)
  • *Optional ground beef

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven 350F.

2. Mix onion, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, milk and 1/2 of the butter. Mix in thawed hash browns. Pour into 9 x 13" baking dish.

3. Sprinkle cheese on top. Sprinkle crackers (or corn flakes) on top. Pour other 1/2 of the melted butter on top. Bake for 30-40 mins.
