  • 6 bacon slices, cut in half crosswise
  • 12 frozen sea (large scallops)
  • boiling water to cover

Preparation

Step 1

Cook bacon in frying pan on medium until partially cooked. Do not cook too much or bacon will not be soft enough to roll when cooled. Remove to paper towel to drain. Cool

Cook scallops in boiling water in medium saucepan for about 5 minutes until opaque. Drain. Cool. Roll 1 bacon piece around each scallop. Secure with wooden picks. Arrange in single layer on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in 425 oven for about 10 minutes until bacon is sizzling and scallops are heated through.
