Ingredients

  • 8 oz. package egg noodles, cooked and drained
  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • two 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • Dash pepper
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 3 oz. softened cream cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Brown chuck; pour of fat. Stir in tomato sauce, onion, green pepper. Blend cottage cheese and cream cheese until smooth. Spoon half of noodles in 2 1/2 qt quart casserole. Cover with cheese mixture. Add remaining noodles. Pour meat sauce over and bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
