Ingredients

  • 6 slices white bread, crustless, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1/4 - 1/2 lb thinly sliced ham; chopped
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tomatoes; thinly sliced
  • salt & pepper

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9x13 casserole dish and layer with bread, ham, and 2 cups cheese. In a bowl whisk together eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour into the dish and top with the tomato slices in an even layer. Bake until eggs are nearly set, about 30 minutes. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup cheese and bake until golden brown.
