Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 3 tbsp. strong tea
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 4 cups sliced apples
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. cream

Preparation
Step 1
Combine first eight ingredients. Fit bottom pastry loosely into a 9-in. pie pan. Alternate apples and sugar mixture until pan is filled. Dot with butter. Place top crust on and slit. Brush with cream. Bake 40 to 50 min. in 400 degree oven.
