Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp ground thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 3 lbs bone-in chicken parts
  • 1/4 cup hard margarine, melted

Preparation

Step 1

Measure first 5 ingredients into shallow dish. Mix.

Beat egg in separate shallow dish. Add milk and lemon juice. Stir.

Dip chicken into flour mixture, then into egg mixture. Dip back into flour mixture until coated. Arrange chicken, skin-side up, in single layer on greased baking sheet. Let stand for 30 minutes.

Drizzle with margarine. Bake in 350 oven for 1 to 1 1/4 hours until tender.
