- Pastry for 9" two crust pie
- 3/4 C Sugar
- 1/4 C flour
- cinnamon (1/2 - 1 tsp)
- dash salt
- 6-8 C sliced apples
- 2 TBLS butter

Step 1
Heat oven to 425º. Prepare pastry. Stir together sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt; mix with apples. Turn into pie shell and dot with butter.
Cover with top crust which has slits; seal and flute.
Cover edges with foil - removing last 15 minutes.
Bake 40-50 min or until crust is brown and juice begins to bubble through slits in crust.
