Ingredients
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. milk
- 3/4 c. blueberries
Preparation
Step 1
Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and beat again.
Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Set aside 2 Tbs.
Add flour mixture and milk alternately to the creamed mixture.
Toss blueberries with reserved flour mixture. fold in.
Bake for 25 min at 400 in greased muffin pan.
