Peanut Butter Blossoms

Ingredients

• 1 3/4 cup flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup butter softened
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 1 unbeatened egg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 bag Hershey's Kisses

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and peanut butter, gradually add sugar and brown sugar. creaming well. Add egg and vanilla, beat well.

In seperate bowl sift together dry ingredients. Gradually combine with butter mixture. Mix thoroughly.

Shape dough into balls. Roll balls in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Remove a sheet from oven and place a candy kiss on top of each cookie. Press down firmly so that the cookie cracks around the edge. Return cookies to oven and bake 2-5 minutes longer.
