Chocolate Chip muffins

Ingredients

• 1/4 c margarine
• 1 3/4 c flour
• 1/2 c cocoa powder
• 1 t baking sodea
• dash salt
• 1 c sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 t vanilla
• 1 1/4 c buttermilk
• 1/2 c chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400. Melt margarine and cool. In large bowl combine dry ingredients including the sugar. To the margarine add egg, vanilla and buttermilk; mix well. Add liquid to dry ingredients and stir just until combined. Add chocolate chips. Pour into muffin cups. Bake 18 - 20 minutes.
