Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa, sifted if lumpy
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • l large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup cooking oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Combine first 6 ingredients in medium bowl. Make a well in centre.

Beat egg in small bowl. Add milk, cooking oil and vanilla. Stir. Pour into well. Stir until just moistened. Grease 12 muffin cups with cooking spray. Fill cups 3/4 full. Bake in 400 degrees for about 20 minutes until golden and wooden pick inserted in centre of muffin comes out clean. Let stand in pan for 5 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool.
