Mrs. Coffee's chocolate waffle cookies

This recipe was from my son's 2nd grade teacher

Ingredients

• 2 squares of unsweetened chocolate
• 1/2 c butter or maragine
• 2 eggs
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1 cup flour
• Frosting
• 1 1/3 c white sugar
• 6 t. butter or margarine
• 6 t. milk

Preparation

Step 1

Melt chocolate squares and butter together. Cool. Beat 2 eggs and sugar. Add to the choclate and butter. Stir in 1 cup flour

Slightly grease the waffle iron and drop batter from teaspoon onto iron. Close and bake short time.

For frosting:

Boil ingredients 30 seconds and remove from heat. Stir in 1/2 c. chocolate chips. Beat until thick and spread over cookies.
