Ingredients
- Full Recipe
- ● 4 sticks margarine
- ● 3 1/2 cup sugar
- ● 4 eggs
- ● 4 tsp vanilla
- ● 8 cup flour
- ● 2 tsp baking soda
- ● 2 tsp. baking powder
- ● 1 tsp salt
- ● 1 1/3 cup buttermilk
- Half Recipe
- ● 2 sticks margarine
- ● 1 3/4 cup sugar
- ● 2 eggs
- ● 2 tsp vanilla
- ● 4 cup flour
- ● 1 tsp baking soda
- ● 1 tsp baking powder
- ● 1/2 tsp salt
- ● 2/3 cup buttermilk
- Frosting
- ● 1 cup melted margarine
- ● 8 cup powdered sugar, (32 oz bag)
- ● vanilla or almond flavoring, to taste (almond will be about 5- 6 tsp)
- ● milk, to make right consistency

Preparation
Step 1
1. Blend margarine and sugar.
2. Add eggs and vanilla.
3. Mix in separate large bowl flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt.
4. Alternate flour mixture and buttermilk.
5. Chill overnight in fridge or 1 1/2 - 2 hours in freezer.
6. Roll out with a lot of flour. Dough is sticky even though it's is chilled.
7. Bake at 350-375℉ (I use 350℉). Take out before they brown (about 7 minutes at 350). When you touch them with your finger and they don't leave an indentation they they are done.
8. Frost when cool.
