Holiday Peppermint Patties

• 1 box chocolate cake mix
• 1/2 cup Crisco
• 1 tbs. water
• 2 eggs
• confectioners sugar
• 24 peppermint patties (small)- it is about 1 bag

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 375
Lightly grease cookie sheet. In large bowl, combine cake mix, Crisco, water and eggs. Mix well. Form dough into 1 inch balls; roll in confectioners sugar. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheets.
Bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until edges are set. Immediately place a mint in the center of each cookie, pressing down lightly. Remove from cookie sheet; cool completely.
