Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 3/4 cups flour
• 2 tsp. cream tartar
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 2 Tbs. sugar + 2 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 400o. Mix shortening,butter & 1 1/2 cups sugar & eggs thoroughly. Blend flour cream of tartar,soda & salt and stir into wet ingredients. Shape in to 1" balls and roll into mixture of cinnamon. Bake at 350o on ungreased baking sheets 8-10 min..
