Ingredients
- 4 Italian sausages
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) water
- 1/2 green cabbage
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) hot chili flakes
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL) ground cumin
- 2 tbsp (30 mL)white vinegar
- 2 tbsp (30 mL)granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
- 2 green onions

Preparation
Step 1
1. Thinly shred cabbage (about 7 cups).
2. Slice green onions.
3. Slice each sausage into four.
4. Lightly coat a large frying pan with oil and set over medium heat.
5. Add sausage. Cook until well browned, about 5 to 7 min.
6. Add water. Cover and continue cooking until sausages are cooked through, about 5 more min.
7. Add cabbage to sausages along with chili flakes, cumin, vinegar, sugar and salt.
8. Add half of greeb onions.
9. Stir often until cabbage is as tender, 5 to 8 more min.
10. Sprinkle with remaining onions.
