Layered BLT Salad

1 (8oz) container sour cream
1 c mayonnaise
1 tbs lemon juice
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 large head iceberg lettuc, torn into bite size pieces
1 (32oz) pkg thick sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
6 plum tomatoes, thinly sliced
3 c large croutons

  • Stir together first 7 ingredients until well blended

Step 1

Layer lettuce, bacon, and tomatoes in a 9x13 baking dish. Spread mayo mixture evenly over the top. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours. Sprinkle with croutons and serve immediately.

Can also sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
