Ingredients
- For the sauce:
- 1/4 lb. diced bacon
- 1/2 lb. Bob Evans roll sausage
- 1 Cup chopped onion
- 1 can pork and beans 28 oz.
- 2 cans Heinens 3 bean blend rinsed and drained
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbl. prepared mustard
- 2 Tbl. molasses
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder

Preparation
Step 1
In a large skillet cook bacon and drain on paper towel. In same skillet saute onion in 2 Tbl. of the bacon grease and set aside. Brown sausage. Transfer all to a greased 2 1/2 quart baking dish, add all of the beans and mix well. In a small bowl combine the sauce ingredients and stir into bean mixture. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake another 15 minutes.
