Ingredients

  • Cake layer:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup Hershey’s chocolate syrup
  • Mint layer:
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons crème de menthe or cream de menthe syrup
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • Glaze layer:
  • 6 oz chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cake ingredients and put in a greased and floured 9x12 inch pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Cool in pan. Spread mint layer on top. Melt and mix glaze. Cool and spread. Chill and cut into squares. Can be frozen.
