  • 2 slices bread, cubed
  • 1 lb mild sausage, browned
  • 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (12 oz) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed

Step 1

Line a 9x13” glass baking dish with bread. Layer sausage and cheese over bread. Combine eggs, milk, and seasonings. Pour over mixture. Sprinkle potatoes on top. Cover with foil. Refrigerate for 24 hours. Bake, covered, at 350° for 35 minutes. Bake, uncovered for 10 minutes. Slice into 8 squares.
