Ingredients
- 1 can (29 oz) solid pack pumpkin
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 box (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 3/4 - 1 cup chopped nuts

Preparation
Step 1
In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine the pumpkin, sugars, eggs, vanilla, evaporated milk, and spices, mix well. Pour into a 9x13” baking pan. Sprinkle the dry cake mix on top and pat down. Melt the butter and drizzle over the top. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350° for 45-60 minutes or until lightly browned and set. Let cool.
