Ingredients

  • SALSA INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 lb. fresh swordfish steak
  • 1 1/2 T olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh pepper
  • 1 tsp. Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 mango, peeled and chopped into small cubes
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 c. seedless cucumber, chopped
  • 1/2 c. grape tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 c. purple onion, chopped ( I used a sweet onion)
  • 1/4 c. avacado, chopped
  • 3 T. fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt

Preparation

Step 1

For Swordfish:
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic,and lemon juice.
Place the fish on a platter and brush both sides with the oil mixture, then sprinkle with the salt, pepper and Old Bay Seasoning on both sides.
Let sit for up to 10 minutes .
Set the fish on the grill and cool each side for 5 to 6 minutes or until the fish is no longer translucent and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from the grill and serve with mango salsa.

Combine all salsa ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well.
