- •1/2 c. butter (1 stick), softened
- •1 c. brown sugar
- •1/2 c. coconut flakes, minced finely
- •1 egg
- •1 tbsp. milk
- •1 tsp. vanilla
- •1 1/2 c. flour
- •2 tsp. baking SODA
- •1/2 tsp. baking POWDER
- •1/2 tsp. salt
- •8 oz. solid white chocolate, cut into chunks
- •1 c. macadamia nuts, chopped

Preparation
Step 1
Cream the butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl with a mixer on high speed. Add the coconut, egg, milk, and vanilla and make sure to mix this well.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add this dry mixture to the wet mix and mix just until the dough forms. Now, you can add in the white chocolate chunks and the macadamia nuts.
Preheat your oven to 300 degrees, or if you have a convection oven, you can preheat to 280 degrees. Do this while you let your dough rest in a refrigerator for 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the coldness setting on your refrigerator.
Measure out around 2 1/2 tbsp. of dough and form a ball. Drop each ball of dough onto an un-greased cookie sheet. Spread them about 3" apart and bake them for 12 to 14 minutes in a standard oven, and 16 to 17 minutes in a convection oven.
