Step 1
Beginning with a few chicken breasts, you'll add four or five into your slow cooker. You could use a different cut of chicken like thighs or drumsticks, but the breast probably benefits from this cooking process the best.
Next, add a tablespoon of kosher salt to your chicken. you could add more seasoning if you'd like.
Lastly, you'll add the second and final ingredient...Coca-Cola! pouring about half the bottle in (which is enough to fully submerge the chicken). The cool part here though is that you could theoretically substitute any soda you'd like. Dr. Pepper or Root Beer could work or you could get experimental and use Sprite and some soy sauce. Feel free to get creative!
Cover the slow cooker and let it cook on high for three to four hours until it's nice and tender.
