Mississippi Mud Cake
Do not use cheaper ingredient for this recipe.
- 2 sticks butter Icing
- 1 stick butter
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa powder 4 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1 cup water 6 Tbsp. milk
- 2 cups sugar Heat and add powdered sugar
- 2 cups flour until desired consistency
- 2 slightly beaten eggs for icing
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Mix the first 3 ingred. in a sauce pan and bring to a light boil.
stir into sugar and flower.
Add: the remaining ingred. Will look like chocolate pudding. Pour into greased and flower jelly roll pan.
Bake 400 degrees for 20 minutes (springs back when done)
Mix icing ingred. Add powdered sugar and sprinkle with nuts
