Ingredients
- 6 shoulder pork chops about 1-inch thick
- 4 or 5 large apples,cored,sliced and cut in chunks
- 2 medium onions,coarsly chopped
- 3 ribs celery,chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
- 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sage
- Freshly ground pepper to taste

Step 1
Trim excess fat from chops.Arrange in roasting pan and brown in preheated 450 oven 15 minutes,drain.Combine remaining ingredients and spoon onto chops.Cover with foil,reduce heat to 350 and roast 50 minutes,or until chops are tender.
