Desserts (Soft Drop Sour Cream Cookies)

Ingredients

• 6 Cups flour
• 1 Tsp salt
• 1 Tsp baking powder
• 1 Tsp baking soda
• 1 (16oz) container sour cream
• 2 sticks butter (softened for 35 seconds in microwave)
• 3 Cups sugar
• 4 eggs
• 2 Tsp vanilla
• Raisins (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

1)Preheat oven to 375 degrees

2)Measure salt,flour,baking powder and baking soda into sifter. cream butter with sugar until well blended in large bowl. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift in flour mixture,adding alternately with sour cream. Blend well. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls,4-inches apart onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. For smaller cookies,drop by teaspoonful instead of tablespoon.
