Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 pounds boneless beef chuck , cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 can beer
  • 2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • cooked noodles

Preparation

Step 1

In slow cooker, combine meat, onion, salt, pepper, sugar, garlic, beer and bacon. Cover and cook on LOW 5 - 7 hours or until meat is tender.

Turn control to high. Dissolve cornstarch in water. Stir into meat mixture. Cover and cook on HIGH for 20 - 30 minutes or until slightly thickened. Serve over noodles.
