Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cup vanilla ice cream (softened)
  • 1 pint rum
  • 12 Cup boiling water
  • Nutmeg (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

- Combine sugars and butter in pan. Cook over medium, stir occasionally till mixture boils and melts sugar.
- Stir cooked mix into ice cream, mix well.
- Refrigerate up to 2 weeks
- Fill cup with ¼ cup ice cream mixture, 1 oz. rum and ¾ cup boiling water.
- Sprinkle with nutmeg if desired.
