Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce, divided
  • 1 1/12 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp prepared mustard, dijon
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce

Step 1

Mix together 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce, ground beef, breadcrumbs, and next 4 ingredients just until combined. Shape mixture into 2 (8-inch) loafs and place in lightly greased 13 by 9 pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 minutes. In the meantime, mix together remaining spaghetti sauce, brown sugar, and next 3 ingredients. Pour evenly over loaves and bake 25 more minutes or until beef is no longer pink in center. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
