Ingredients
- Dough Recipe:
- 2 1/2 lbs. of ground beef
- 1 large can of sauerkraut, rinsed nd drained dry
- Grated cheese
- 2 packages of dry yeast
- 2 1/2 cups warm water
- 3/4 cup softened shortening
- 8-8 1/2 cups flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten

Preparation
Step 1
Soften yeast in water, add crisco, sugar and eggs, four cups of flour. Stir until soft and smooth, stir flour into remaining dough.
Knead for a few minutes, place in a large bowl. Let rise for 1 1/2 hours or until double.
Assembly:
Working with half the dough, roll out 1/2 inch thick in a 6 or 7 inch circle.
Place 3 tbs. of filling in center cover with grated cheese. Wrap dough around filling and seal tightly.
Place on a greased baking sheet, let rise again 1 hour.
Bake at 400 for 15 minutes. Brush with butter. Serve with Ranch dressing.
