Ingredients

  • 1 cup huckleberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp light corn syrup
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water for cornstarch
  • 2 tsp lemon juice

Step 1

Wash berries in strainer. Remove stems or green berries. Place in saucepan. Add sugar, water, corn syrup. Bring to a boil. Blend cornstarch and water. Stir into berries, cook until thick. Stir constantly. Stir in lemon juice and remove from heat.
