Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups chocolate wafer cookie crumbs (24 cookies)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 (14 oz) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 2/3 cup chocolate syrup
  • 2 tbsp instant coffee
  • 1 tsp hot water
  • 1 cup (1/2 pint) whipped whipping cream
  • Cookie crumbs for garnish

Preparation

Step 1

Combine chocolate wafer cookie crumbs, sugar, margarine or butter into small bowl. Pat firm in spring form or 13x9 inch pan. Chill.

In large bowl beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add sweetened condensed milk and chocolate syrup.

In small bowl dissolve instant coffee in hot water. Add to large bowl. Mix well. Fold in whipped whipping cream. Pour into pan. Cover. Freeze 6 hr. or until firm. Garnish with additional cookie crumbs. Refreeze leftovers.
