- 1 pound sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- pinch cream of tartar
- 4 ounces butter
- 4 tablespoons cream
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- candy thermometer

Step 1
Line a baking sheet with foil and butter.
Mix butter and sugar on low heat. Stir until dissolved. add cream of tartar and vinegar. Boil for 30 minutes or until candy thermometer reaches 302 degrees. Add butter and cream stir in to candy. Pour into prepared pan. Cool and cut into squares.
