Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup buttter
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 can lobster meat (320 g)
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup sherry (optional)
  • 8 patty shells

Preparation

Step 1

In skillet, beat 2 tbsp butter. Saute mushrooms until soft. Cut lobster into bite-sized pieces.
In top of double boiler, melt remaining butter. Add flour, salt and pepper; blend well. Gradually stir in milk, cook, stirring, over simmering water until sauce is smooth and thickened. Add sherry, lobster and mushrooms, heat through. Serve in patty shells.
