Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 t. soda
1/2 t. salt
Cream
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. margarine
Add
1 . c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
Add
2 eggs unbeaten
2 T. Water
1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Blend in dry ingredients last. Mix and chill two hours. Use two packages of mint wafers (fritzie or other brand). Shape cookies by enclosing each wafer in abot 1 T. dough.

Place on greased cookie sheet.Optional - top each cookie with 1/2 walnut. Back at 375 about 10 minutes.
