Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tbs. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 tbs. flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 tbs. pesto sauce
- 1 1/2 tbs. chopped parsley
- 3 cloves garlic - minced
- 2 tbs. grated Parmasan cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
- 1 dash hot sauce
- 1 tbs. butter
- 1 pound jumbo shrimp, cleaned
- 3 cloves garlic - minced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 cups broccoli florets, cooked
- 1 1/2 cups angel hair pasta, cooked
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes.
Slowly stir in milk and cream and simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Add pesto sauce, parsley, garlic, Parmesan, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce to saucepan, reduce heat, and keep sauce warm.
Melt butter in skillet.
Add shrimp and garlic, sprinkle with salt and saute for 5 minutes or until shrimp are pink.
Toss shrimp, broccoli, and pasta together and pour sauce over top.
